PROCESS SAFETY STUDIES

Alinoz have association with certified functional safety experts, who have significant experience in conducting the following functional safety studies in compliance with IEC 61508 / 61511.

HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study) is a study which is used to simulate abnormal behaviour by considering deviations and disturbances due to causes likely to impact immediate and surrounding plant resulting in consequences. It is an audit tool which helps to decide whether the design has adequate features (i.e., Safeguards) that can prevent occurrence or limit the consequential Effects.

Objective:

The major objective of HAZOP Study is to identify hazards of the process/operations based on guidewords, which could lead to potential damage on equipment or operations, even personnel fatality and to prevent, control and minimise the risk by providing safeguards.
